ROUTINE TEST

 

Minimum Oil Circuit Breaker: Type T 52 / 2E & GUD

Standards followed: - IS 13118, IEC 56, IEC 694 & BS 116.

 Tests Conducted:-

  1. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the main circuits.

  2. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the control & auxiliary circuits.

  3. Measurement of resistance of the main circuit.

  4. Mechanical operation test.

 

Oil Fuse Switches: Type VLE, VLEA & VLX

Standards followed:- IS 9920, IEC 420, IEC 265, IEC 285 & BS 3078.

Tests Conducted:-

  1. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the main circuits.

  2. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the control & auxiliary circuits.

  3. Measurement of resistance of the main circuit.

  4. Mechanical operation test.

 

Oil Fuse Switches & Isolators: Type OD & ODA

Standards followed: - IS 9921, IEC 265, IEC 285 & BS 116.

 Tests Conducted:-

  1. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the main circuits.

  2. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the control & auxiliary circuits.

  3. Measurement of resistance of the main circuit.

  4. Mechanical operation test.

  

Vacuum Circuit Breakers: Type VB5-25/12 & VR5-20/08

Standards followed:- IS 13118, IEC 56, IEC 694 & BS 116.

 Tests Conducted:-

  1. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the main circuits.

  2. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the control & auxiliary circuits.

  3. Measurement of resistance of the main circuit.

  4. Mechanical operation test.

  5. Tests for contact speed & contact bounce.

 

Porcelain Clad Vacuum Circuit Breakers: Type PB5-25/12

Standards followed:- IS 13118, IEC 56, IEC 694 & BS 116.

Tests Conducted:-

  1. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the main circuits.

  2. Power frequency voltage dry tests on the control & auxiliary circuits.

  3. Measurement of resistance of the main circuit.

  4. Mechanical operation test.

  5. Tests for contact speed & contact bounce.

 

Current Transformers

Standards followed:- IS 2705, IEC 185 & BS 3938.

 Tests Conducted:-

  1. Verification of terminal markings and polarity.

  2. High voltage power frequency tests on primary winding.

  3. High voltage power frequency tests on secondary windings.

  4. Over voltage inter-turn test.

  5. Determination of error according to the requirements of appropriate accuracy class.

 

Potential Transformers

Standards followed:-  IS 3156, IEC 186 & BS 3941.

 Tests Conducted:-

  1. Verification of terminal markings and polarity.

  2. High voltage power frequency tests on primary winding.

  3. High voltage power frequency tests on secondary windings.

  4. Over voltage inter-turn test.

  5. Determination of error according to the requirements of appropriate accuracy class.
